Hi this is really interesting and it cam to me by way of a Sangoma sibling that I have. It's synchronsitic as I was talking about Westminster Cathedral only yesterday and the fact the David Livingstone was buried there as The Great Explorere, his body most likely appropriate as propaganda toold for the amplification of Empire. I am currently on a pilgrimage from Cape Town to Cairo that partially tracks David Livingstone journey through Africa. I am currently in Mozambique where is body was returned to the UK. His hear tis still here in Africa buried at the place that he died. We have many old rituals that include the honouring of the body after death and the memory that matter holds after death too. After all we are quantum beings and our though affect matter as you so asutely point out. Most earthly things die eventually. I personally would much rather have an understading of ritual sacrafice than factory farmed meat for example. In my experience honouring the dead is about honouring life and indeed valuing it and all it's power. The truth is that none of the ritual magic or death cult that you speak of is hidden from you. The coronation of the new King was done in full view of the world and that magic is on a need to know basis for those that are commited to their craft. After all you don't give automic weapons to children well that was the idea anyway... I do hope you find this comment informative.
